• Medium to be cooled: What type of coolant will the unit use during its operation? (E.g. water, water-glycol mixture, emulsions, etc.)
• Pressure loss of cooling medium in the target system?
  • What is the pressure drop on the consumer(s)?
  • Look for this date in your engineering plans, catalogues, or measure it directly!
• Temperature values/range
  • Entry temperature of the media
  • The temperature range of operation of the chiller
• Application/environment
  • Type and size of connections
  • Indoor/outdoor placement
  • The level of air pollution at the desired place of operation
  • Area of available space
  • The capacity of electric power available on site
• Are there any special requirements?
  • ATEX application, presence of extreme material
  • Is there a special need for redundancy?
